TRST System
TRST System The TRST system includes
Hydromatics Fiberglass Pump Basin with cover,
and Fiberglass Guide Rail System. The strong
fiberglass basin is corrosion resistant with an
anti-flotation ring to secure it from shifting.
The basin cover is made of fiberglass rated to
withstand a 250 PSF live load adequate to
withstand the momentary loads of residential lawn
equipment. The TRST Rail System is available in
three options Standard TRST Rail System, U.L.
Listed TRST Rail System and The Low Cost Express
TRST Rail System. The TRST Rail System includes
a fiberglass guide rail, PVC discharge piping,
thermoplastic shut off valve and ball check
valve. The ball check valve is equipped with a
hydraulic sealing flange disconnect to enable the
pump to be removed quickly without disturbing the
piping. The TRST System comes complete with all
fittings, hardware, influent hub, and
instructions so the contractor has the complete
package at the job site.
Pump, Panel and Control Floats are included
only with the TRST Express Package System
otherwise these items are sold separately.
U.L. Listed TRST System The U.L. Listed TRST
System includes U.L. Listed Hydromatic grinder
pump. U.L. Listed Hydromatic control
floats. U.L. Listed Hydromatic control
panel. Note U.L. Listed Systems must be
purchased to include all the above components
from Hydromatic.

TRST System
Rail System The TRST System is constructed of
schedule 80 PVC piping. The entire system
is corrosion resistant to provide years of
trouble-free service. Self cleaning neoprene
ball check valve with quick disconnect mounted
on pump discharge allows pump to be removed from
the basin without disturbing piping. Removable
fiberglass guide rail assures positive sealing
and alignment of the check valve to the
discharge elbow/shut off valve
assembly. Hydromatics TRST Guide Rail system
is adaptable to Hydromatics vertical and
horizontal discharge grinder pumps. Please
specify which type when ordering.
Controls U.L. type 6 Junction Box molded from
corrosion proof, flame retardant thermoplastic.
Hinged Cover Junction Box available in single
cord and dual cord configurations with 3 floats,
to accommodate a wide variety of pump
models. Standard 8300 U.L. Listed control
float switches. Stainless steel float bracket
holds switch at any desired height. Float
weights prevent floats from hanging up in the
network. The System can be controlled by a
standard SPC-Panel or a custom Q-Panel,
depending on the functions required from the
pump system.
