Certification

• ONC-ATCB certification, tests EHRs against the
  Final Rule issued by ONC, HHS to qualify EHR
  technology for ARRA. 
• Certification of products can be in one or both
  of these programs.

Regional Extension Centers (REC)

• Aim to help providers to adopt EHRs to achieve
  meaningful use
• Provide general education for all practices such
  as Website materials, presentations,
  informational webinars, etc.
• Direct Assistance for out-patient practices to
  reach the meaningful use requirements, with an
  emphasis on priority providers (ONC defined)
