Oils are adulterated at times. Usually other oils
are used to adulterate coconut oil. This
experiment relates to check the purity of coconut
oil
MATERIALS NEEDED
Coconut oil samples from the market Refrigerator
or Ice in a box

To check the purity of coconut oil leave the
container in refrigerator or in ice until the
coconut oil freezes, a separate layer of the oil
used for adulteration will form a conspicuous
layer above.
