• AIM
• To understand that the moulds (fungi) cause
  the decay of food stuffs such as bread, fruits,
  etc.
•  
• MATERIAL REQUIRED
• Fungus infected Bread or Rotten orange,
• Water
• Glass slide
• Microscope

• Place scrapes of the mould (fungi) on to a drop
  of water on a glass slide and smear with the help
  of another slide

• Observe the slide under the microscope

Spores of Rhizopus sp, Aspergillus sp and
Penicillium sp may be observed.
