• Fought back doctor and prescription co-pay
  increases
• Defeated a bill to increase the amount of pension
  money invested in risky stock market funds
• Stopped attempts to remove State Personnel Act
  protections from university employees
• Protected state employees right to choose what
  insurance products are best for them
