• The setting took place north of River Heights,
  while they were there, Nancy and her friends
  stopped at an old inn called the Twisted Candle
  Inn. They were there because Nancys friends,
  Bess and George, were curious about seeing their
  ancestor.

• The characters that are in The Sign of the
  Twisted Candles are Nancy Drew, Bess Marvin,
  George Fayne, Asa Sidney, Carol Wipple, and many
  relatives of Asa Sidney. Nancy, Bess, George, and
  Carol try and see if Mr. Sidney left a hidden
  will he told Carol about it. Carols caregivers
  were also trying to find Mr. Sidneys will.

Plot Summary

• The Sign of the Twisted Candles is about three
  teenagers trying to get Asa Sidneys will where
  it belongs. They struggle through situations like
  trying to get things away from Carols adopted
  parents. Nancy and her friends finally get the
  will in the right hands of someone in this book.
  If you want to know more about it, you will have
  to read it!

My Reaction to the Story

• My reaction to the story was being surprised
  by what happened in the story. It was a weird
  story-line at first. After I read The Sign of the
  Twisted Candles, I wanted to read more Nancy Drew
  books! This is by far the best book in the whole
  series.

• This is my favorite quote because this was when
  Carols parents were trying to break into a
  hiding place where they stored things.

• I highly recommend this book to people who
  love, mysteries. People of all ages will really
  like this book because the book is so surprising
  and you wouldnt guess what would happen next! If
  I could I would read this book a million times
  over.
