    databases of content to stay competitive and
    provide the most relevant results for a given
    search. Search results are no longer just web
    pages. Search results can be more three
    dimensional types of content such as audio and
    video
  • The SEs have also been working on verticalizing
    this content (news, local, image, video)
  • Major search engines are increasingly dedicating
    main SERP real estate to vertical search engine
    content. Some are calling this vertical creep.
