Mapping Lab Vision

• The mapping lab provides unique and previously
  unavailable spatial analysis capacity to enhance
  projects focused on landscape change in
  California.
• The mapping lab will enable projects to
• Collect spatial data through hand-held GPS
  devices couples with digital video and audio.
• Produce state-of-the-art GIS maps to generate and
  illustrate key analyses and develop
  visually-compelling policy briefs.

• In partnership with the Sacramento Coalition on
  Regional Equity (CORE).
• Regional equity indicators project.
• Community mapping programs.
• Healthy Youth/Healthy Regions
• An unprecedented exploration of disparities in
  youth well-being on a regional scale.
• Seeks to inform regional action to reduce
  disparities in youth health, education, civic
  engagement and employment.
• In a unique partnership between UC Davis, the
  Sierra Health Foundation and the California
  Endowment.
