Bologna Cycle 2 Course

• An MSc degree is a cycle 2 course according to
  the Bologna declaration which equates with a
  level 9 degree course in the National Framework
  of Qualifications.
• Alignment of the Bologna cycles with the National
  Framework of qualifications in Ireland (Source
  National report from Ireland 2004-2005 on
  implementation of the Bologna process)
• Taking the learning outcomes proposed for Bologna
  and the NFQ into consideration, the following
  learning outcomes were devised
