Overall Goal of Collaboration

• For Parkland College
• To provide increased access for residents of the
  District to complete a Bachelors Degree, and add
  to the spectrum of opportunities available via
  Parkland Adult Degree Completion Center
• For the University of Illinois at Springfield
• To provide seamless support systems to enable
  learners to pursue online degree completion, and
  to facilitate consistent enrollment streams into
  the program

Communication is Critical

• Evaluation is ongoing, and both formal via survey
  data and informal via anecdotal information
• It assists to build a base of inquiry to forward
  to college-wide programs
• We collect indicators of success and
  indicators of risk
• We maintaining current levels of support and
  cooperation
• We are open to revisiting all aspects of the
  agreement
