Mission

• KEEP A CHILD ALIVE is an urgent response to the
  AIDS pandemic ravaging Africa.
• As a 501(c)3 non-profit, KCA offers the public
  the unique opportunity to provide lifesaving AIDS
  drugs and support services directly to children
  and families living with HIV/AIDS in Africa.

The AIDS Pandemic

• HIV/AIDS is 100 preventable and treatable, yet
  globally it has killed over 25 million people.
• The price of ART continues to drop as generic
  drugs become more available. Lifesaving
  treatment is now available for less than 1 a
  day!
• In developing countries, 9.7 million people are
  in immediate need of ART yet of these, only 2.9
  million (31) are receiving the drugs.
• AIDS has created over 15 million orphans who
  need attention, care, and treatment, now.

Keep a Child Alive funds visionary leaders of
community based organizations that need our help.
Though these leaders have the skills to provide
HIV/AIDS care they are often impeded by lack of
access to medicines, healthcare professionals,
and funding. KCA funds these leaders to provide
life saving medical care and scale up of their
services.
