TRADOC recruits, trains, and educates the Armys
soldiers, develops leaders, supports training in
units, develops doctrine, establishes standards,

Develop logistics leaders, doctrine,
organizations, training, and materiel solutions
to sustain a campaign quality Army with joint and
expeditionary capabilities in war and peace

7CASCOM HISTORY
Planning for BRAC results in CASCOM,OCS,
TSC, QMCS, ALMC forming the SCOE at Fort
Lee.
CASCOM Reorganization was implemented. Combat
developments and Training development centralized
in CASCOM.
CASCOM HQ Fort Lee, VA
Combined Arms Support Command (CASCOM) is formed
when the LOGCEN is merged with the Soldier
Support Center and remains at Fort Lee.
2009
Sustainment Center of Excellence SCoE
TRADOC created. Three major subordinate commands
created the Combined Arms Center (CAC), the
Logistics Center (LOGCEN) and the Administrative
Center. Materiel development is now a joint
effort. TRADOC is the primary combat developer
and AMC as primary materiel developer. LOGCEN
located at Fort Lee.
Combined Service Support Group created as one of
two subordinate elements of the Combat
Developments Group (CDC) and activated at Fort
Lee. Designed to integrate under CDC the log and
admin support functions. Each branch school
maintained their own separate departments of
combat developments and doctrinal expertise.
