• About NCPA
• NCPA represents the interests of independent
  community pharmacists. Because independent
  pharmacists are involved in such a number of
  varied professional activities, NCPA represents
  many different specialties within pharmacy such
  as long term care consulting, home infusion and
  disease state management areas such as diabetes
  and respiratory care. NCPA is also very involved
  in political issues facing independent community
  pharmacy.

• Purpose
• To promote pharmacy as a profession and the role
  of the independent retail pharmacy in the
  American healthcare system.
• To educate the lay public on the proper use of
  both prescription and nonprescription drugs and
  on the pharmacists role in safe and effective
  drug counseling, therapy, and administration.
• To provide effective support and sponsorship of
  programs to encourage careers in retail pharmacy.
