Coyote Measurements
  • Head/body length of 2.5 to 3.3 ft Tail
    length of 12 to 16 in. Shoulder
    height of 18 21 in. Weigh around 20
    35 lbs

Coyote Colors
  • grayish brown to a yellowish gray
  • whitish to light gray on the throat and belly
  • muzzles, cheeks, forelegs and feet are a reddish
    brown
  • black-tipped guard hairs on their back

  • thick, bushy tail that end in a black tip
  • long, slender muzzles
  • Large pointed ears
  • green-yellow eyes
  • feet are small for size of body
  • can reach speeds up to 40mph

  • emit a variety of calls, from squeaks, barks and
