Anne Foster Herminia Din, Ph.D.
  • Ann Foster is the recently appointed archivist
    for the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
  • She has worked for archives, museums, and
    historical societies in Montana, Arizona,
    Colorado, and Maryland.
  • A certified archivist, she holds a MLS with an
    archives concentration from the University of
    Maryland at College Park and a BA in history from
    Montana State University.
  • Prior to joining the faculty at the University of
    Alaska Anchorage in 2003, Dr. Din worked for
    seven years in the museum field with an emphasis
    on technology for children and families.
  • Dr. Din serves as a board member of the Media and
    Technology Committee.
  • Her research focuses on how the use of new
    technologies in education offer the potential to
    transform teaching and learning in art.
    Currently, she is studying aspects of emerging
    technology for implementing creative initiatives
    to enhance arts education.

Erin Coburn Nik Honeysett
  • Erin Coburn is the Manager of Collections
    Information at the J. Paul Getty Museum. Coburn
    provides oversight for all data gathering and
    retrieval efforts at the Museum and facilitates
    enabling greater access to information and
    ensuring that cataloguing adheres to best
    practices and standards.
  • Coburn currently serves on the Board of Directors
    for Museum Computer Network, and is also the
    Program Chair for MCNs Annual Conference.
  • She is also on the Advisory Committee for
    Cataloguing Cultural Objects A Guide to
    Describing Cultural Objects and their Images.
  • Nik Honeysett manages the Gettys Web Group, at
    the J. Paul Getty Trust and is responsible for
    all aspects of their main website and intranets.
  • Since joining the BBCs Interactive Television
    Unit in 1988, he has spent his career developing
    or managing media projects.
  • Before moving to Los Angeles, he was Head of
    Production at Cognitive Applications, a UK-based
    consultancy building interactive kiosks, CD-ROMS,
    and websites for museums and galleries.
