citizens, was a printer, author, diplomat, and
inventor.
3He was full of ideas.
"Eat to live, not live to eat..."
"Fish and visitors smell after three days."
Half Wits talk much but say little.
"Early to bed and early to rise..."
Waste not, want not.
A penny saved is a penny earned.
4He was curious about everything around him, and
often his curiosity turned into something very
useful.

6Franklin became our ambassador to England. When
he couldnt talk sense to the British, he came
home and helped write the Declaration of
Independence.
