• Those were his colonies
• The other colonies were founded by his friends
• King Charles the 2nd owed the Penn family money
  so he gave them Pennsylvania

• Ben Franklin was not born in Philadelphia
• He made the first Fire Station, Hospital, and
  Library in Philadelphia
• He also made the first battery, odometer,
  lighting rod, and the first iron fireplace
