• Benjamin Franklin was born in Boston on Jan.
  17,1706.
• Ben mother, Abiah, was Josiahs second wife.
  Benjamin was the youngest son and the 15th of 17
  children.
• When he was 10 Ben began to help in his fathers
  shop, cutting candlewicks and filling molds.

• Franklin insurance company, as well as plans for
  streetlights, paving , and policing
• One of the most famous of his many inventions
  was the Franklin stove.
• Franklin patented none of hid inventions.
• Included pioneer studies of heat conduction and
  the origin of storms. His most important work,
  however, was done with electricity.
• These are more of his inventions, rocking chair,
  harmonica, eye glasses, and lightning rod.
