Brief Background

• I grew up and went to high school in Jefferson
  Township NJ.
• Played varsity basketball and field hockey.
  Spent my weekends going to local shows
  listening to local bands play, going to the mall,
  working part time.
• I went to college at Fairleigh Dickinson
  University, I have a BA in Literary Studies and a
  MAT in Teaching.
• During college I waitressed for a few years and
  held a management position in retail for a little
  while.
• I have a mom, a dad, and a younger brother.
• My extended family includes my boyfriend, Mathew
  and his family. And also my pets! They include a
  golden retriever named Lily, a bird Rudolph, and
  two cats Fulton and Alex.

General Interests
In general I like Reading. Going to the mall.
Don't laugh, but I'm a big fan of board
games..like Pictionary and Taboo, so I drag
people into playing them. Also I used to play a
lot of sports in high school, puts head down, a
little ashamed I was class athlete. So I'm up
for sporty activity. I write often, mostly
journal stuff and poems. I appreciate art, and
sketch when inspired

Other Interests
Music Music includes pretty much anything. Punk,
emo, hardcore, oldies, lil bit of hip hop.
Favorite bad is Weezer. If you were to go through
my cd case youd see System, Foo Fighters,
Beastie Boys, Weezer, Kids, Folly, Sublime, Ben Kweller, 50s doo wop,
and Frank Sinatra.
Movies and TV I dont watch much TV, but when I
do it is almost exclusively Adult Swim (cartoons
on Cartoon Network). I watch a ton of movies,
heres a few I love, Billy Madison, Snatch, Lord
of the Rings, Mallrats, The City of Lost
Children, Moulin Rouge, Hellraiser, Napolean
Dynamite.

My Teaching Style
I believe in a student centered classroom I
believe in a problem solving approach to
classroom management I try incorporate multiple
learning styles and intelligences I think its
important we learn how to learn In class what is
relevant is what helps an individual live well
and what benefits humanity.
