Working in groups

• When creating the songs we all worked together.
  Although the songs were written by different
  schools everyone took part in the singing.

Problem Solving

• When making the CD we had to solve some minor
  problems.These problems were, creating the songs
  and recording. We solved these by, letting the
  other schools write some songs and booking a
  recording studio in Elland.

Decision Making

The decisions we had to make were, what songs to
include in the CD and who to involve.We decided
to include Christmas songs and a couple of
others. We involved Withinfields , ST. Chads and
St. Johns.

Planning

• We had to plan the front cover. We decided it
  would be a good idea to hold a competition. After
  we had held the competition it was so hard to
  chose we sent them off to Brighouse high school,
  who then choose the winner.

Communication

• When making the CD we had to communicate with the
  other feeder schools in Brighouse. We set up a
  meeting at the High school where we could decide
  which recording studio wed go to and what songs
  to sing.

Marketing
For marketing we held a school fair and sold the
CDs. Some people at our school sang at the
Christmas fair to get people to buy it.We also
sold the CD during school time. Which was a
bargain at only 4.99.

How We Sold It

• We sold our CD (A Very Primary Christmas) at
  our school Christmas Fair on Friday the 25th
  December.We also sold the CD during school hours.
  Our target was to sell over one thousand CDs,
  we met this target!

ST Johns
St. Johns is a local Brighouse school.They help
us to create and sing the Christmas CD. St Johns
wrote Dreaming on a cloud (poem), come celebrate
with us and S.t Johns school hymn.

ST. ANDREWS

• St. Andrews teachers, Mr. Simpson and Mr. O'Hare
  were the main people involved in the producing of
  the CD. The children from St. Andrews wrote, It
  Wasnt Me and The St. Andrews School Hymn.

ST Chads

• ST CHADS is a local Brighouse school they wrote
  Its Jesus birthday party (remix) they also
  helped us to record and sing the other songs.

Withinfields wrote the song Summer Sun and
helped us record and sing the other songs.

WHAT WE HAVE LEARNT
We have learnt from this, how to record and make
a CD, also how to interact with other schools and
members of staff.
