• Tuesday, April 14 Computers in the Texas DPS
  Enterprise Network began exhibiting bizarre
  symptoms
• Wednesday, April 15 Determination made that
  Servers and Workstations were infected with
  Conficker worm.
• Thursday, April 16 Tools were distributed to
  allow technicians to clean machines
• Friday, April 17 Outside Resources Engaged.
  3-prong approach adopted

• Ready for deployment.
• MOU between two agencies.
• Hopefully as soon as mid-May
• TLETS operators will simply send a BQ having a
  destination of TX

• Reduce the number of uninsured drivers
• Provide accurate, timely verification of
  insurance
• Reduce burden on municipalities and citizens

• Status Temporarily on Hold until solutions to
  Texas Juvenile and Court information can be
  determined

• Certified for use on Windows Vista
• Uses Java 1.6.x
• Conversion Strategy not yet determined
• Agency needs will be considered
• New url will support the 4.0
• Old url will remain in place and support 3.2
