  • across from Dunkin Donuts
  • We are open Monday Friday from 9am to 430pm
    with evening hours until 730pm on Tuesdays and
    Wednesdays.

A Brief List of Career Center Services
  • For career counseling, you can make an
    appointment with a career counselor OR sign up
    during our daily drop-in hours from 1-4pm
    Monday through Friday
  • Resume and cover letter critiques
  • Help with interviewing skills and mock interviews
  • Job/Internship advice and consultation
  • Workshops and events

Recruiting Program
  • One of the many services of the BC Career
    Center
  • The primary goal is to coordinate on-campus
    interviewing through the use of EagleLink, the
    online recruiting tool.
  • Also coordinates employer information sessions
    and corporate presentations, in addition to some
    off campus resume referrals.
  • To participate in the Recruiting Program you
    must
  • Complete this PowerPoint Presentation
  • Complete/Update your Profile in EagleLink
  • Abide by the Campus Recruiting Agreement

EagleLink Log In
  • To login, use your BCID (the first 8 digits,
    followed by bc all strung together) as your
    username - Ex. 12345678bc, not your email
    username.
  • When you first log in, your password is lyons

Your EagleLink Homepage
  • Conduct Career Research
  • Messages from the Career Center
  • Upcoming events you have signed up for
  • Reminders about activities on your applications

Your Profile
  • Your profile has tabs for Personal Info,
    Academic Info, Career Preference and Continued
    Academics.
  • Update them as needed.
  • When you first log in, please Change Your
    Password to secure your account by selecting
    change password from the Profile drop down.

Your Documents
  • This feature enables you to upload the documents
    you use to apply for jobs, such as resumes,
    cover letters, transcripts/degree audits, and
    writing samples.
  • Once you upload your documents, you can send them
    to employers when you apply for posted jobs.

Uploading Your Documents...
  • Select the file by clicking Browse. Make sure
    your document is in Microsoft Word or PDF format.
  • Click upload.
  • This process can take a few minutes.

Your Applications
  • This feature allows you to keep track of all your
    current and past applications.
  • If you are selected for an interview, click on
    the Details link to view the interview schedule
    and to select an interview time slot.

Your Personal Calendar
  • Your Upcoming Events feature works as your own
    personal calendar displaying events such as
  • Interviews
  • Information sessions
  • Workshops for which you have signed up.

Jobs Internships
  • The Jobs feature enables you to search for job
    and internship opportunities made available by
    employers through the Career Center.
  • Once youve found a list of jobs, you can view
    detailed position descriptions, save selected
    descriptions into folders, and apply to jobs
    directly from EagleLink.

Employers
  • The Employers feature allows you to
  • Search for specific employers
  • Conduct a general search of employers using an
    A-Z index
  • Save various employers for fast and easy searches.

  • The Career Center Calendar feature in EagleLink
    enables you to view
  • Upcoming Career Center events
  • Job fairs
  • Resume deadlines
  • Information sessions
  • Scheduled interviews.
  • Click on each event to see details.

Career Center Calendar
  • To RSVP for an event, select the event from the
    Career Center Calendar feature, and then click
    Sign Up.
  • Once you have signed up, your RSVP will be
    entered automatically in Your Upcoming Events
    Calendar.

  • Use this feature provided by WetFeet to conduct
    research by
  • Industry Profiles
  • Career Profiles
  • City Profiles

Help
  • Not sure what to do? EagleLink incorporates an
    online help system.
  • The Help button is located between the Home and
    Sign Out buttons on each page..

  • Make sure you logout each time you finish using
    EagleLink.
  • Upon completion of this Orientation, please email
    student.recruiting_at_bc.edu informing us that you
    viewed this presentation.
  • Be sure to retain the downloaded Orientation
