Getting the Charter MCDM Bus to Whistler

Meeting Area prior to 1500
Passengers getting the MCDM International Stage
Lines bus to Whistler will meet prior to 1500
in the public arrivals area of the International
Terminal. Once you arrive from the U.S. or
overseas and have cleared Customs and claimed
your baggage, you exit the Customs Hall and
enter the large reception lobby of the
International Terminal. If you are arriving at
the Domestic Terminal you will have to take a
short walk to the International Terminal Arrivals
area (along the sidewalk outside or along the
link walkway of the Departure level, level 3).
Free Trolley buggies are available for your
baggage. The arrivals level of the International
Terminal is level 2. The international arrivals
lobby offers several food services, including the
Elephant Castle pub, Burger King and Starbucks
coffee. Also available are flowers and a
newsstand.

Exact Meeting point prior to 1500

• In the public arrivals area of the International
  Terminal, there are two very large statues one
  of a woman and the other of a man.
• Meet in front of those statues between 1445 and
  1500. A picture of those statues is on the next
  slide.
• Dr. Bert Schoner of Simon Fraser University has
  agreed to meet you there. He will summons the
  International Stage Lines bus to come from a
  holding area and he will check your name against
  the list of people getting the bus.

Boarding at Fairmont Hotel Vancouver

• The charter MCDM bus leaves Vancouver Airport at
  1500 and should be at the Fairmont Hotel
  Vancouver at 1530.
• The Fairmont Vancouver Hotel is located in the
  centre of Vancouver at 900 West Georgia Street.
• Do not wait on Georgia Street in front of the
  hotel to board the bus. Boarding will be at the
  loading and unloading area for the Fairmont
  Vancouver Hotel. This area is located at the
  back of the hotel in the lane that runs between
  Hornby and Burrard streets. Look for the
  International Stage Lines bus.

What do I do if I miss the Bus!

• If you missed the bus, you will have to catch the
  scheduled bus service to Whistler
• Perimeter Bus Whistler Express from the airport
  (65, times 0930, 1200, 1430, 1700. 1930)
  ticket desks opposite baggage carrousel 5 in
  Domestic Arrivals and in semi-public area after
  exiting customs in the International terminal but
  before going through the sliding glass doors to
  the public waiting area.. Reservations
  recommended www.perimeterbus.com
• Greyhound Bus service from downtown Vancouver
  (22.50, times 0530 0800, 1100, 1230, 1500,
  1700 from the Vancouver bus depot, Main and
  Terminal Streets. Vancouver flag stops en route
  to Whistler - the bus will stop if waved at on
  Georgia street at Homer, Burrard, Bute, or Denman
  streets. Passengers with luggage please board at
  the bus depot. West Vancouver flag stops en route
  to Whistler - the bus will stop if waved at at
  the bus shelter between Lions Gate Bridge and
  Capilano River Bridge on Marine Drive and a the
  bus stop at Inglewood and Taylor Way.
