2 Destination St. Lawrence Spring Camp is
being held on April 30th and May 1st, 2009.
This Camp is offered to students in Grade 11 and
12 who have a Learning Disability or AD/HD.
The program involves learning valuable skills
and strategies for college and an opportunity to
become familiar with adaptive technology,
services, resources and available
accommodations. This program is free and meals,
snacks and an off-campus dinner and other
activities are included. To register see Ms.
Wale by April 8th to
obtain a registration package and the
required
documentation. The registration deadline with
St. Lawrence
is April 17th, 2009.

10The Learning Disabilities Association of Ontario
is offering a 1,000 scholarship award in the
name of a long serving LDAO Board Member, Roy
Cooper, to a high school student who has a
documented Learning Disability and will be
attending first year at a University or College
during the 2009-2010 school year, majoring in
engineering and/or a physical sciences
discipline.Please see Ms Wale for applications.
11Destination St. Lawrence Spring Camp is for any
Grade 11 or 12 students with Learning Disability
or ADD/HD who are planning on attending college.
A 50 deposit is required to enroll in this
overnight event which will help you prepare for
success at college. If you are interested in
enrolling, please see Ms Wale as soon as
possible. Available spaces are limited so the
sooner you get your application in, the better.
The final deadline is April 17th.
