Huskies of the Month

• All student of The Douglas County High School are
  entered into a drawing called the Husky of the
  month. The students that are chosen will be
  given a Golden Pass. This golden pass can be
  used to check themselves out of school on 3
  separate occasions. The Golden Pass can also be
  used as an entrance fee to any of the school
  sponsored events. Each month two students are
  chosen for the Husky of the Month, one boy, and
  one girl. The only requirement is that the
  student is present at the time of the drawing.

Kirsten Topher

• This young woman is always attending all of the
  school activities. Kirsten always has a smile on
  her face, and a textbook in her hand. She is
  rarely ever late to class, and always pays
  attention. Congratulations Kirsten, we hope you
  enjoy your privileges.

John Berkstien

• This young man has outstanding grades and
  attendance record. He has an accumulative GPA of
  3.8, and participates on the Lacrosse team. He
  is also involved in all of the band activities.
  Congratulations John, we hope that you enjoy your
  privileges.
