• The state bird is the California quail/ Valley
  quail.
• And the state flower is The Golden Poppy.
• The state animal is the California Grizzly Bear.
• The state tree is The California Redwood.

• The Native American Tribes of California are
  Cahuilleno, Kapok, Modoc, Mojave, Piute, Pomo,
  Wyandot, and Yokuts.
• Johann A. Sutters partner James Marshall found
  gold in Johann A. Sutters land.
• In 1848 Mexico won the independence from Spain
  and California became a state.

• California is in the Pacific.
• The high points of California is very cold while
  the low parts of California is extremely hot.

• The governor is Arnold Schwarzenegger the movie
  star.
• Their agriculture products are grapes, carrots,
  onions, broccoli, flowers oranges, rice lettuce,
  tomatoes, strawberries, almonds and asparagus.
• There are a lot of famous people in California
  like Adlai-statesman, Earl Warren-chief justice
  of the supreme court, Isadora Duncan-Modern dance
  pioneer, Joe DiMaggio-baseball player, and
  Michelle Kwan- Figure skating Champion

conclusion

• I chose California for my state because its a
  cool place, and their festivals are a lot of fun.
  
• If I go visit California I would go to
  Disneyland, and Universal Studios.
• Before I wrote this report I knew it was the 31st
  state in the United States of America.
• The thing that was really interesting to me is
  that they have something called a Italian street
  painting festival.
