• MOTHER KICKED HIM OUT BECAUSE OF THIS. HOMELESS
  FOR A YEAR (UNDERBRIDGE)

• Captured a generation of middle to lower class
  teens.
• Teens could relate to Cobains intelligent
  lyrics.
• Although they brought grunge to the mainstream,
  they did things there own way.
• Brought a new form to the grunge sound, which
  consists of a mix of rock/punk/pop/metal.

Kurt Donald Cobain

• 1967-1994.
• Died on April 6, 1994 by an apparent
  self-inflicted gun shot to the head.
• He was found dead two days later by an
  electrician in his Seattle mansion.
• Wrote a note minutes before his death.
• It was labeled as a suicide note but no one
  really knows.
