26m below the ground.
The suspect charged is not identified, but
awaiting trial in San Diego.
Over two tons of marijuana have been found inside
of the tunnel.

- Seen as a vulnerability, the tunnel in Tijuana
has opened concern for other border control
issues.

Vincente Fox, Mexicos president, wants to build
a fence along the Mexican border. Critics have
described this idea as shameful, and some
critics think that the fence would be impossible
to enforce the illegal immigrants from staying
out.

Mexicos president stays popular, even though
much criticism has been brought up about him.
Fox has received a 61 approval rating. Fox did
oust the Institutional Revolutionary Party in
2000, but since his rule, economic growth has
been much slower than promised.
