  • Assess their students using adaptive tools to
    determine, not what they do not know, but what
    they do know.
  • Enlist the output using a data analysis tool to
    closely define the various learning communities
    in each class.
  • Engage the various learning communities in each
    class in differentiated versions of the
    project/problem based lesson developed against
    the specific curriculum for the class.
  • Provide learning communities with hardware and
    applications which enable them to own their
    learning and drive their forward progress toward
    the agreed upon goal and beyond if so desired at
    a pace that works for the specific community.

  • Observe the progress of the various communities
    and facilitate corrective adjustments where
    appropriate.
  • Re-assess at midyear for predictive data
    regarding likely outcomes on standardized
    testing.
  • Use the data analysis tool to define specific
    areas for targeted effort aimed at improving
    student outcomes in standardized testing.
  • Adjust problem/project based lessons to address
    specific areas for potential improvements in
    standardized performance.

  • Deliver adjusted problem/project based lessons
    via highly differentiated means aimed at the
    strengths of each learning community.
  • Assess a final time at year end for a gains
    report on each students/communitys achievement
  • Employ the data analysis tool again to determine
    the impact of various efforts and compare
    outcomes in aggregated and disaggregated views
    with the outcomes on standardized instruments
