• Two issues currently with Stntuples for Summer
• Some 0i Stntuple files messed up in production,
  see offline meeting Wednesday, talk by Ai Nagano.
• 2) New fiducial tool matters for CMX miniskirt
  and
• keystone scale factors.

Latest muon data/MC SFs blessed last Friday (CDF
note 8262) - but includes new fix to muon
fiduciality Muon/src/MuonFiducialTool.cc
revision 1.16 New efficiencies compatible with
old EXCEPT for the MS and KS
Fixed MC
Old phi cuts from note 7956 Miniskirt  237.5 lt
? lt 267.5 or 272.5 lt ? lt 302.5 Keystone ( 76.25
lt ? lt 88.25 or 90 lt ? 105 ) and ? lt 0

How to proceed?
The CMX fixes already in revision 1.13 of
fiducial tool. ? Ntuples made with release 6.1.3
or later are fine ? Stntuple datasets made on
the farms after November 22, 2005 have this fix
Many of the 0h datasets made earlier (for
instance the high pt muon) Find list on stntuple
blog http//www-cdf.fnal.gov/tiki/tiki-view_blog.
php?blogId11 0i Stntuples new efficiency
applies Gen6 MC fixed if ntuplized with 6.1.3
(or later) or after Nov 22. ONLY an issue for
analyses using MS/KS Right now trying to
reproduce the big difference with 0h and
0i Stntuples.

A few other peculiarities ...
Recommendation is to not use wedge 14 west
triggered muons for runs 190697 209760 ID and
reco efficiencies in wedge look ok
CMUP reconstr. efficiency

• High pt BMUs blessed for full dataset
• Ready to use BUT
• 10 cm misallignment in z
• additional fiducial cuts needed
• Hope to have BMU triggers studied
• before next iteration
• First look at low pt
• Recommended COT track quality cut
• is hit fraction ? 60
• Dont have this info so use alternative
• cut with loose COT cut
• Efficiencies OK but worry about fake rate
