  • A bully is a person who is cruel or overbearing,
    especially to smaller or weaker people.

What Do Bullies Do?
  • Call names, start rumors, tease, use physical
    violence
  • Get into victims minds by ignoring, intimidating,
    and making them feel uncomfortable
  • Play with victims emotions through cruel pranks
    and jokes

Why Do Bullies Bully?
  • Usually exposed to violence and have problems at
    home
  • Because they imitate people they admire
  • Think they are in control
  • Usually stronger, bigger, more popular than
    people they bully
  • 15 of kids are bullies

  • Get bullied because theyre weaker, smaller, not
    as popular
  • 15 of kids get bullied
  • Most physical bullies are boys
  • Most verbal bullies are girls

  • Witnesses afraid to stand up to the bully
