What are some possible factors that could be
contributing to the declining fish population?
- Some reasons for the decline in the fish
population could be - Pollution,
- Decrease in predators,
- Increase in human development of the area,
- Overpopulation,
- Change in weather, and
- Loss of habitat.

3Food Chains
- Draw a 4 level food chain that could be found in
a lake environment or a pond. Write the names of
each plant or organism. Give a reason for the
order of your food chain.

- Imagine your class is on a field trip to a

- A chipmunk is busy storing nuts and seeds in
their underground homes. Explain why they are
doing this.
