What is an expert witness?

• Unlike other witnesses, expert witnesses can draw
  conclusions.

• Discovery is the process by which each side to a
  litigation reveals to the other all the
  information, witnesses, evidence that they plan
  to present at trial.

What are Depositions?

• Depositions are a means of discovery in which
  anyone who may be a witness at trial can be asked
  any question that might be relevant to their
  testimony.
• They are sworn and a transcript is made.
