The Greasers and Socials

• Greasers have greasy hair, are very poor and are
  more street smart. They seem to get into trouble
  with the police more because of their reputation.

• Socials are rich and dont have to be as street
  smart. They have a lot of nicer things than the
  greasers and can get away with most of the things
  that they do that are against the law.

The Loyalty in The Outsiders

• The outsiders had many examples of loyalty. It
  showed me that doing something for a friend will
  have consequences, good or bad. Especially when
  you run with them from the police.

The Conflict and Resolution

• Conflict
• The conflict of the outsiders was that the
  Socials and Greasers couldnt get along because
  they thought that they were more different than
  they really were.

• Resolution
• The resolution of the story was that the Greasers
  and Socials that were affected by the deaths that
  had happened learned that not everything can be
  solved by fighting.

• The thing that I learned most from The Outsiders
  is that you can have an idea of what someone is
  like from how they look. After I read this book I
  realized that greasers were everything I thought
  they would be. Although its not true for
  everyone, sometimes you really can have a reason
  to stay away from someone because your first
  impression can be accurate.
