General Information

• Trip Dates January 5th-9th, 2004
• Seattle January 5th-6th
• Los Angeles January 5th-6th
• San Francisco Bay Area
• High Tech January 6th-9th
• Marketing and Healthcare January 7th-9th
• Career Fair San Jose January 8th

Procedures

• You must attend all visits in the city / trip of
  your choice so that we have enough students to
  make the visits worthwhile for companies.
• Email your resume, indicating which trip you plan
  to attend to Elyse Johnson (ecj2_at_duke.edu) by
  December 1st

Seattle Details

• Confirmed Companies (Dates TBA)
• Microsoft
• Starbucks
• Nordstrom
• Potential additions to list REI, Amazon, Boeing
• Alumni event will be organized for Monday night.

Los Angeles Details

• Companies we are targeting Disneyland, Amgen,
  Mattel, Neutrogena, Disney Consumer Products,
  Warner Brothers
• Event with alumni on Monday night.

Bay Area High Tech

• Target Companies Intuit, Adobe, Yahoo, EBay,
  Google, Intel, Cisco and Apple.
• High Tech companies also have marketing positions
  which might be of interest to marketing club
  members.

Bay Area Health Care

• Genentech and Chiron are confirmed
• Still working on visits to Lifescan, Guidant, and
  Gilead

Bay Area Marketing Focus

• Possible Visits include Clorox, Gap,
  Williams-Sonoma, Leapfrog and Dreyers
• On the bay area trips, we may ask students from
  one focus area to go on visits with another focus
  area in empty time slots to beef up our
  numbers.

• By December 1st, email your resume to
  elyse.johnson_at_duke.edu with the info on which
  trip you want to attend.
• You may drop out of the trip as late as December
  4th. After that date, we will be printing resume
  books for companies and will assume your
  attendance is confirmed.
