Have you ever heard the story of the three little
pigs? Over the next few days, you will become
one of the characters from the story to complete
some activities. Click on the pigs below and
listen to the story before you begin your task!
3Task
Well, little pigs, the time has come for you to
move out on your own. You must work together to
build yourselves a new house. You will also need
to classify the resources that you use in case
the big, bad wolf comes back and you need to
rebuild again! But you better hurry up and get
started. That ol wolf is still out there!

5Uh oh, little pig. Youve got a problem. It
seems that your partner doesnt want to build a
new house. You must convince the other little
pig that you need a house. Click on the books
to read about wants and needs. Then write a
letter to the other little pig to convince him
that you must have a house!

that you need a house, its time to become a
producer pig! Whats that you say? You dont
know what a producer is? Well, youd better find
out! Click on the T.V. below and watch to find
out what a producer is!

7Your next step is to choose the resources youll
need to produce your house. What are
resources?!? Oh my! Click on the books below
and read to find out about the different types of
resources. But youd better hurry! I think I
heard the wolf huffing and puffing outside!

8Uh oh, little piggies! I think I see that ol
wolf lurking outside. Its time to get busy
building! Use the resources that are in the box
to produce your house! Be sure to use at least
one capital, one natural, and one human resource
to build your house. After you finish building
your house, click on the wolf below to complete a
factors of production chart to classify the
resources you used. Be sure to do a good job on
your house. That big, bad wolf can really huff
and puff!
9Conclusion
Great job, little pigs! Now hurry home before
the big, bad wolf sees you!
