  • Homework Policy

Homework Policy
  • Students will be expected to complete all
    assignments.
  • All students MUST copy their homework in their
    planner/assignment book on a daily basis. All
    teachers write assignments on a homework board.
    It is the students responsibility to copy down
    assignments from the homework board.
  • All homework assignments should be returned by
    the assigned date.

Homework Policy Continued
  • Students who have not done their homework will be
    given the opportunity to complete the assignment
    for an adjusted grade. For every day an
    assignment is late, the grade may be dropped one
    letter grade.
  • Students will be given an Oops! Form if an
    assignment is not turned in. Oops! Forms must be
    signed by a parent and turned in with the late
    assignment. Assignment will not be accepted
    without an Oops! Form.

Homework Policy Continued
  • Students are required to write their full name on
    every assignment. If an assignment is turned in
    and does not include a first and last name, the
    grade may be dropped a half of a letter grade.
  • Students will not be allowed to call home for
    forgotten assignments after 845am.

Homework Policy Continued
  • Work missed due to absences will be required to
    be completed. Students who are absent should
    see the teacher for each subject immediately.
    For every day that the student is absent, they
    will have a day to make up the missed
    assignments.
  • After the third missed assignment, the respective
    teacher will notify parents.

Volunteering for Field Trips
  • All parents are encouraged to volunteer for
    chaperone duties.
  • All field trip chaperones are chosen on a lottery
    basis.
  • Exception All parents are eligible to be placed
    in the lottery for the Philadelphia field trip.
