Eligibility
4These determinations are used to reimburse the
agency for Title IV-E services that have been
provided to a child.
SACWIS Eligibility/Reimbursability
Eligibility/Reimbursability History The Title
IV-E Eligibility and Reimbursability history for
a child can be viewed on this screen. The links
on this screen allow the agencys Eligibility
Specialist to view and enter Eligibility and
Reimbursability records for children in agency
custody
5SACWIS Eligibility Summary
Eligibility Summary Screen The system will use
information that has been entered into SACWIS to
determine a childs Title IV-E eligibility.
Eligibility Specialists can link to the specific
eligibility requirements from this screen.
6SACWIS Eligibility/Reimbursability
Requirements 1-6 Screen Information that has
been entered into other areas of the system such
as court and person demographics will be pulled
into the Eligibility area and used to determine a
childs Title IV-E eligibility.
7SACWIS Eligibility/Reimbursability
Requirements 7-9 Screen Income and Resource
information entered in the Person Record for SFU
Members and other Case Members will be included
in the Needs Standard Summary and applicable
Budget Worksheets for determining ADC Relatedness
for Title IV-E eligibility.
8SACWIS Initial Reimbursability
Initial Reimbursability Screen Placement
information that has been entered for a child is
brought forward from the childs initial
placement record within a custody episode. The
system looks at the placements current license,
type and service group to determine whether or
not the placement is Title IV-E reimbursable.
9SACWIS Eligibility/Reimbursability
Childs Need Worksheet for Title IV-E
Reimbursability screen Information entered in a
childs income and employment records will be
used by the system to calculate the childs need
for purposes of determining Title IV-E
reimbursability.
10HMO Enrollment History Grid This grid will
display the documentation of Non-IV-E HMO
Enrollments and Disenrollments. When a Non-IV-E
HMO is disenrolled from this area, a notification
will be automatically sent to the State HMO
Coordinator.
MMIS Medicaid Eligibility History Grid This
grid will display all Medicaid spans for a child
within any custody episode or for those children
in receipt of Title IV-E Adoption Assistance.
MMIS HMO History Grid This grid displays the
HMO history for the time period when a child was
in the agencys custody. SACWIS will
automatically disenroll a IV-E HMO through its
interface with MMIS.
SACWIS Medicaid Eligibility
Medicaid Application History Grid Applications
that have been submitted on behalf of a child for
Non-IV-E Medicaid can be documented and tracked
in this area.
If for some reason a Medicaid card is not
received, the agency will have the capability of
printing a temporary medical card for the current
IV-E Medicaid span from the generate a temporary
medical card link in this grid.
