Environment? - Users, Jobs, Print Jobs, Security, RM Info,
Process Flow, EDI, BCI, Design Studio, Hand
Held's, SEAs - Lawson Identity Definition
- Do the Lawson User accounts match existing LDAP
Accounts ? - Are multiple IDs used for Lawson access
- Do the current RD30 records match the future
authentication repository user names - Do you use any custom Attributes in RD30
- Consider the impact of deploying into an LDAP
environment - Net new to client deployment
- New to Lawson deployment
- Change to Lawson deployment
- Will password authentication be managed through
Lawson LDAP instance? - Identity management, process impact?
- What products are supported? Which ones are not?

components . . . - Deploy any Additional Configuration items post
installation and smoke tests - Example converting to SSL, LDAPS, and/or LDAPBind
- Do not use special characters in naming
conventions no . or -, especially in user

14LSF 9.0 Migration Impact Items
- Variations take time . . . Account for LDAP,
RDBMS, and potential end point variations in your
project plan. - Do you have ProcessFlow, Design Studio, and/or
custom web integration points ? - IOS has changed, AGS, DME, IDA have changed,
visiting all flows, forms, and custom web
applications must be accounted for ! ! ! - REMOTE_USER is GONE ! ! !
- RD30 and its ATTRIBUTES are GONE, they are in
LDAP now ! ! ! - GEN is in an RDBMS instance, this will impact
machine resource consumption . . . - IOS, CCE and Environment are combined, you patch
LSFCT (Core Technology) now, no need for 3 sets
of patches ! ! !
