Fonts and Font Sizes
  • Make your font size uniform
  • DO NOT USE ALL CAPS!
  • Use Sans Serif Fonts for on Screen Presentations
  • Use Serif Fonts for printed or small screen
    presentations
  • Use basic and uniform fonts

11
Use of Text
  • Do not use paragraphs or text in prose to
describe your point. Simple, easy-to-read bullets
accent your speech and add impact to your
presentation. Using full paragraphs or long
sentences will distract the audience as they try
to interpret the message you are trying to
convey. This gets complicated as you type more
text and the font size decreases to make room for
your words. Again, simple, easy-to-read bullets
do the trick and are more effective.

12
Use of Color
  • Use contrasting colors
  • Be consistent with color throughout
