Slide view to make or edit a slide
Slide sorter view to arrange slides
Slide show use arrows to advance, use ESC to
leave this view

32 Adding text to a slide (use the Slide View)
From menu, choose Insert - Text Box
When the box appears, type in it! To change
font, highlight text choose Format - Font
from menu
TRY IT HERE - click on this text change it.
Then try a new box below.
P. S. To delete a text box, click on its edges
hit DELETE
43 Adding, deleting, and moving slides
MOVING in slide-sorter view, click drag
slides. (Put them back in order after you try
it.)
ADDING in slide view, choose Insert-New
Slide. (WAIT try it, but use scroll bar to
get back!)
DELETING Edit-Delete Slide from menu. Try it
with your new slide (not this one!)
54 Adding an image to a slide
Choose Insert-Picture-From File and follow the
prompts.
Too big or too small? Drag the corner handle to
re-size.
Drag the image to move it around.
Try re-sizing and moving Earth, then do your own!
65 Changing the background
Choose Format-Background
Click on the color bars arrow for a new color,
then hit apply
Note More colors gives more choices. Fill
effects gives fancy ones. Try them out.
DONT BE TACKY! Avoid backgrounds like this
that distract.
76 Revising for better effect
Conclusion Current evidence on the existence of
fossil life on Mars is equivocal. More
research is needed.
