Project Objective

• Determine how many diapers are used daily by my
  twin babies.
• Determine what this is costing me on a monthly
  basis.
• Compare my results to the 8-12 diapers per day
  average stated in books.

Data Collection

• Data collected over 24 days.
• Time of day of each diaper change was recorded
  for each baby.

• Time between diaper changes (each baby)
• Distribution of diaper changes throughout a 24
  hour period (each baby separately and both
  together)

Results

• 485- Total number of diapers over 24 days
• 245- Evelyn
• 240- Violet
• At 10 per baby per day- 600 diapers in a 30 day
  month

• At 29 per 228 (Huggies _at_ Cosco)
• Monthly cost- 76.32
• The book rate of 8-12 diapers per baby per day is
  accurate
