Instrument Inventory
  • 3 year initiative that begin in March of 2008
  • String instrument inventory has been completed
  • Band instrument inventory will begin in the
    Spring and continue for 2 additional years

String Inventory Stats
  • 1,239 instruments total 39 school programs
  • 303 in good condition
  • 316 repaired by warehouse staff this summer
  • 547 needed major repair (unplayable) some
    instruments beyond repair

Repairs
  • 350 of the major repairs will be done between now
    and November
  • 197 of the major repairs will be done at a later
    date (instruments have been sent back to the
    school)
  • By November 24, we will have 969 instruments in
    good condition vs. 303 from last year

  • Initiative funded by Devon Energy and the
    American Fidelity Foundation
  • 6th grade students to go to the OKC Museum of Art
  • Transportation, admission, and a hands-on art
    project will be provided
