  • Basic Rule
  • To provide remote access, all links on your web
    pages to an e-journal or database must include
    the proxy URL as part of linking URL

Remote access to databases
  • By linking through proxy, remote users will have
    access to all of the resources
  • An active SPH username and password are required
    to access SPH Library materials remotely, i.e.
    away from the Houston campus

  • Sophisticated interface allows for complex

  • May take training to learn how to use well

  • Expert search shows all searches, includes limits
