    ca. 4 (L/R)
  • After CD has initialized, the recorder will check
    input
  • Test for level on CDRW, make sure you have signal
  • Insert minidisc into recorder

6
To Record
  • Press the red RECORD button on CDRW, this will
    engage record/pause
  • Press the small red RECORD button on the
Minidisc, it will likewise pause and wait for
PLAY before recording a new index. Press PLAY
about two minutes before you think the concert
will begin. Just let the minidisc run and insert
a new disc after intermission. These discs are
    only 1 hour.
  • Press PAUSE (to disengage the PAUSE) on the CDRW,
it will begin recording the first track or INDEX
  • Press RECORD MUTE when the first selection is
over. This will fade down the track and generate
    a new INDEX reinstate REC/PAUSE
  • Press PAUSE (to disengage) start recording the
    next INDEX
  • Be very careful to give yourself enough time to
run these indexes. It should only happen when
there is clapping and the performers leave stage.
DO NOT run indexes between movements, there is
not enough time in many cases.
  • When in doubt, DO NOT INDEX a new track

disengage) and the recorder will begin the
finalization procedure and write the TOC. When
the counter is finished the disc is done

marker on disks with a white or silver coat for
labeling. On clear CDs, secure a piece of paper
to the Jewel case. We will try to only have
labeled media for use in this process.
  • Power down in reverse of Power up procedure.
  • Pack up equipment securely and return to the
    MALL.
  • You will have responsibilities to edit and copy
