  approach

At the Fair

• Stop to see your identified organizations-Select
  8-10 companies
• Dont start with your favorite first
• If you have extra time, visit with others
• Collect business cards info that maybe in
  addition to what is on the web

Overall Conduct at the Fair

• Dress Professional
• Dont get all the freebies
• Remember, employers can see (and usually hear)
  you at all times. Conduct yourself accordingly.
• Be Courteous to all.

You are being assessed-Employers do observe your
behavior

• Body Language
• Do not fidget, play with your hair.
• Do not rock from side to side.
• Do not look around when talking or being spoken
  to.
• Do not chew gum.
• Communication
• Listen carefully
• Avoid "um", "like", "you know."
• Show confidence in your voice

Follow-up After the Job Fair

• Determine your hot prospects.
• Write them a thank you note, indicating how you
  met them and your interest in their company, the
  job or both.
• Stay in pursuit
• Keep those business cards and log them in a
  Network Directory-We will begin this NOW.

  to know more about the training program. Also I
  would like to know what you think are the
  positive attributes about working for XXX and why
  to chose to work for them.

• Leave a lasting Impression
• Return to the booths of the companies you liked
  most.
• Thank them one last time for giving you their
  time.
• Express that you are looking forward to speaking
  with them again, soon.
• Don't overdo it, but be polite and assertive.
