effects of congestion, transportation policies,

build a labor pipeline for current and emerging
markets

- Conduct research to assess needs of
BRAC-affected workers and businesses and to
identify emerging markets assist with
employment, education, training, and
entrepreneurship options in current and emerging
markets - Infrastructure Development
- Expand transit options and connect to other
transportation infrastructure implement

strategies enhance arts and cultural

- Develop a range of development policies that
address a feasible balance of density, height,

visitors that is appropriate in content and form - Marketing
- Develop a comprehensive marketing plan that
identifies new economic opportunities for the
area and that positions it as a premier business

- Approximately 55 of affected jobs are relocating
within the region - Commuting patterns reveal that residents who work
outside their home jurisdiction commute to sites
within the region - Affected workers are indicating a desire to
remain in their current homes and either commute,
telecommute, or find alternative employment
within the region - Region is forecasted to add an additional 64,000
jobs each year between 2005-2010, two-thirds in
Business Services
