3Our Team Plan
- We met as a group to develop our plan for
implementing changes to the Worthington Office to
make Demand Driven a part of our service delivery
to customers.
4Who, what, where, when, how????
- Hot Jobs
- We plan to put information about Hot jobs on the
CRS system - CRS Administrators will be responsible for
putting the names on the system - We plan to update the list and make changes
monthly after our joint staff meeting - We will share the information by meeting notes
for those unable to attend Joint Staff
5Who, what, where, when, how????
- Onet / Iseek / additional on line assessments
- Doreen and Kathy will develop information for
Resource room computers to help customers become
familiar with the assessments - We will have a short Power Point on the computers
- We will develop links to various sites and
continually update as we become aware of new
sites - By April 2007 we will have this developed to show
staff and begin implementing upon any
recommendations / changes - By March 2007 Ron will develop a poster for the
Resource Room to heighten awareness

- Business Job Descriptions
- To better serve customers we will develop a
resource of local job descriptions to better
answer customers questions regarding local
employment - We will work closely with the BSS personnel to
obtain information either by email, fax, or mail - We will also rely on local WFC staff to obtain
- We will implement immediately and continually
work to update information

- Develop a binder for Resource Room usage
- Binder will contain examples (in sheet
protectors) of Hot Jobs (replaced quarterly)
Assessment examples Local job listings
(newspapers/MN Job Bank) description of services
and brochures for each agency - This binder will be made available to Resource
Room participants and may be checked out to view
in the Resource Room - Kathy will get binders Linda sheet protectors
Linda will maintain job list Kathy/Linda and
other staff will develop examples each Dept will
be responsible for getting brochure/information
to put in the binder - We will start working on it now and finish by
April 07, but continually update information
through Monthly staff meeting

- Assistance for On line applications
- We have gained knowledge in helping customers
complete on line applications and would like to
develop an information sheet that would be
helpful to customers coming in to complete
applications - We will compile information on such things as
How long to complete the application What do I
need to have to complete this application Can I
leave and come back How often can I do an
application Can I attach my resume, etc - Amy will contact some local employers and write
up a sheet (such as Walmart/Shopko/Wells Fargo)
and we may ask employers who have on line
applications to speak to us - We will start now and continually add information
to this this will be added to our resource

- E mail training
- Ron will add information to the Resource Room
poster that we can help set up an email account
(Yahoo Hot mail) - We will help individuals if they need help to
attach a resume, etc as requested - We will start this by March 1st and offer
assistance on going

- Computer Lab
- We will attempt to make more use of the
Worthington Computer Lab - All customers of the WFC may use the lab
- Resources available will be put in our Resource
Room binder and updated as more programs become
available such as Mavis Beacon typing in
English or Spanish - We will remind staff at our monthly joint staff
and put in notes any new information and will
begin immediately

- E mail welcome to new customers
- We realize not everyone will come into the WFC
for services and we will develop a welcome note
that will be sent out weekly to all new
registrants of the WFC - Ron will develop a short welcome letter that will
be posted to the common file on the server so
everyone will be able to access it - Sandy will develop directions and post these on
the common file so everyone will have access - We will rotate the responsibility weekly
- This will begin immediately upon approval from
Management
