CORNELLÀ AND THE SCHOOL

• We are located in the center of the city and the
  public transport that arrive at the secondary
  school are Underground (L5), train (RENFE and
  FF.CC), bus (TMB), exit 14 of the Ronda of Dalt
  and the future streetcar Trambaix will also
  arrive in the future.

THE ORIGINS

• We began the activity in 1976 in provisional
  facilities in Can Mercader.
• In 1977 we inaugurated the current building.
• We teach classes of Professional Formation in the
  speciality of Mechanics and Electricity of the
  motor vehicle of First and Second Level, titling
  about 18 students each course.
• The course 1997/98 the first students began the
  current studies of Electromechanical Maintenance
  of Vehicles, obtaining the title of Middle
  Degree.

• 1 Workshop of motors and auxiliary systems.
• 1 Workshop of electronic-electricity.
• 1 Workshop for motor vehicles.
• 2 Theory classrooms.
• 2 Stores of material.
• 1 Department of Automotion.

• 15 Cars, 15 motors, 15 gears boxes, mechanisms
  and materials of Automotion.
• Tools and useful materials for 75 students.
• Machinery for the electric and electronic control
  of the motor vehicles.
• Checkers of bombs and injectors gas oil.
• Machinery mechanization tools .
• 5 Elevators, hydraulic and pneumatic lift,
  supports, cranes, etc.
• Checkers of gases, loader of conditioned air.
• 2 TV, 2 PC, 2 videos, DVD, projectors of
  transparencies, video projector, etc.

WHAT DO WE DO?

• We teach the CF of GM of Electromechanical of
  Vehicles .
• Each course we title about 20 students. .
• We have a level of insertion of 80, 6 months
  after finishing of the studies .
• 35 of the students continue studying .
• We encourage our students to be formed
  continually.
• More than 80 of our students declare to be
  satisfied and/or very satisfied of the carried
  out studies.

CURRICULAR ORGANIZATION

• The curricular contents are organized in two
  academic courses .
• First Course in the morning (50 students)
• Second Course in the afternoon (25 students)
• The hours of study are
• 29 hours/week in the first course.
• 19 hours/week in the second course in the school
  and 20 hours/week of Formation in Centers of Work.

WHAT DO WE WANT TO DO?

• We want to continue carrying out our work, for
  that reason
• We want to continue being formed to improve the
  teachings that we teach.
• We want to teach the Course of Technician
  Superior of Automotion to cover the hole that
  exists in the labour market of these
  professionals.
• We want to thank the trust and the suport all of
  you are giving us.

WHAT DOES IT MEANS FOR US TO BE A CENTER TOYOTA
TECHNICAL EDUCATION PROGRAM

• In the first place we have been very successful
  in having been selected by Toyota to be the first
  T-TEP in Spain.
• Catalonia is a reference in the world of the
  motor vehicle and this election reaffirms and it
  focus this reality.
• It is an opportunity to be able to know, to use
  and to teach our students the technology
  characteristic of Toyota.
• We feel grateful and proud of having narrow links
  of union with a company leader in the world like
  it is this Toyota, and at the same time committed
  in getting that the effort carried out up to now,
  we want to reach the results that all the implied
  parts, Toyota, Departament dEnsenyament de la
  Generalitat de Catalunya and lIES-SEP Esteve
  Terradas i Illa would like to achieve thanks to
  their constant effort.
