Deciding on a theme

• As a class we voted on a theme.
• As a result most of us voted for sports.
• Then we brainstormed 6 questions and answers to
  go with the theme using Kidspiration.

• What is your favorite sport to play?

Analyzing Data

• We went back to the class and as a group we
  tallied (for each question) the answers that we
  received.

Graphing Results

• Then we went to the computer lab and put our data
  into Microsoft Excel. Then we made a graph of our
  results (of the one question we focused on). We
  also made sure we put titles on our graph because
  we learned that titles were a component of a good
  graph.

Drawing Conclusions

• The most popular athlete in the 5th grade class
  was Ben Wallace! On the other hand, Chancy
  Billups got the least amount of votes. It was
  surprising because they are on the same team!

• Mia Hamm had the least votes with a total of 4
  votes.
